Home Inspection Home Inspection makes sense, Years ago people shook hands on a house and the seller told the buyer all about the house  and everything they knew about the home and that was the deal. Today it’s different  Home Inspections are an important part of the home buying process and the seller most often avoids even answering questions about the home because they might have conflicted interest when trying to sell the home. Times have changed, I have inspected over 8 thousand homes and just when I think I have seen it all, then I am surprised by something new or someone from the do it yourself-er Yankee who takes it upon them-self to take the electrical panel box cover off and add wires to the front of the box  too the person who does not have any problems with 6 inches of water in their basement.
Home Inspectors in  Massachusetts from Boston and Worcester area are not all the same,  some are associated with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), small independent home Inspectors and  small company’s like Clayton Home Inspection Inc and then there is the larger companies or franchise companies. We all pride ourselves as giving our clients the best inspection possible or as I look at the home, as if I were going to purchase the home. It takes time to do it right because as a home  inspector we have one chance to get it right the first time.
Best of  luck
